The Sony T200 has a sliding metal cover that shields the lens, flash, and microphone when it is closed, providing substantial protection against dangerous pockets. Opening the cover with one smooth slide turns the camera on, and it is ready to capture that perfect family moment.

All Sony cameras use Carl Zeiss lenses, which are known for their quality, and the innovative lens in the T200 is no exception. Though it fits entirely within the diminutive frame of the camera, it has a powerful 5x zoom. Most ultra-compact cameras have a 3x zoom, so being able to zoom in nearly twice as much is amazing! The combination of a tiny camera and big zoom can equal some pretty serious hand shaking, so the Sony T200 also has optical image stabilization to help the lens cope with movements.

The Sony T200 also has a huge 3.5” screen – most cameras top out at 2.5” – which makes both composing the shot and viewing photos later a breeze. The screen has an anti-glare coating so it is able to be seen in the sun, too. This viewer is also a touchscreen, which is where you set options for the camera.
