Both cameras offer auto modes and a lot of Scene Modes for novice users. The Sony DSC-T100 has a wider angle lens (useful for general purpose photography) and better Continuous Shooting Mode. It also has High Shutter Speed Mode (one of the scene modes where high shutter speeds are the priority, which is useful for freezing the action in action shots).
The Casio EX-V7 offers greater zoom and supports Aperture/Shutter Priority manual modes, which are useful for action photography.
Overall the Sony DSC-T100 is our top pick because of its better Continuous Shooting Speed and wider angle zoom lens. Image quality at higher ISO is also better.
