.Overview
The PowerShot A630 is a compact camera, which is convenient while traveling, yet includes many of the features found on larger size cameras. It has a long list of easy-to-use features, including full manual controls, an optical viewfinder, above average 4x optical zoom, and a swivel LCD screen.
My Best In Class Pick
Canon PowerShot A630
It’s a toss up between the Canon A570 and Canon A630. Both offer good quality and easy-to-use features, full manual controls, a viewfinder, and 4x zoom that is above average. I will make the A630 my top choice because of the big sensor and swivel LCD. However, if you want something smaller with red eye fix and Image Stabilization the A570 is a great choice, also. The Sony W55 doesn’t offer quite as much as the Canon’s but it is a slightly smaller option.
