When it comes to my purchases, I plan them weeks if not, months, in advance. Once the decision is made that I’m going to buy something, I research it like crazy to make sure my hard-earned cash is being well-spent. Over the years, through my purchases and general interest, I’ve developed a near-encyclopedic knowledge of computers, mp3 players, cell phones, and, most importantly, televisions. I love my HDTV. I bought it about two years ago and although today it is a bit outdated, it still suits my needs perfectly. Whether I’m watching Blu-rays, playing video games, or channel surfing, it still looks great and that is because of the time I put into my purchase.

My family and friends know all this about me, so as long as I can remember, I’ve been their “go-to” guy when it comes to anything technology related. Whether their computer has a virus or they need to buy a new TV, I’m the first on their call-list.
