Photography is something I know will always be there for me. I was born in Mexico City and lived in Los Angeles, Miami, Brooklyn, Boston, Jerusalem and Vermont by the time I finished high school. To fight the disruptiveness of this I used photography as a way for me to connect these places together into some kind of narrative. Somewhere in that process I fell in love with making images. Now, although I can get obsessed with the technical aspects of a “good photograph”, what I really love about photography is the attention and connection it forces you to have with your surroundings. Somehow, looking through a lens allows you to see the simple beauty that exists all around you.
