Bought this camera a year ago, after some comparison shopping. Even tho it's my first digital camera, I knew when I bought it, that it was great for the money, for what I need as a freelance artist. Thanks for confirming my choice. Panasonic isn't known for cameras, but I'm satisfied & it soon will be known for cameras.

I used to have this camera i liked it a lot, but i am suprised you haven't listed the S100fs that is miles better than anyting,, trust me i have it and the S9100 is no match, i also have the 450D and the S100fs is close with that;)

For a better price check out costco. Only $189

world class recommendation

I have been a big fan of the Cannon Powershot ever since the help at best buy told me it was rated best by a Consumer Report. I had a 4 megapixel then and my pictures looked better then most of my family members who had higher pixel camera's. Since then I've upgraded to the 7 megapixel with the widescreen back, dont have my camera with me to get the actual name but I've noticed the difference more in the clarity of videos. The pictures are a little more clearer but not enough to where I would downplay the 4 megapixel.
